Default Camber HELP!

Hows it going S2ki, Im finally getting my car together but I need some input. My Weds are Rubbing Slightly over bumps on my CF DF fenders. I have a Hard Race kit similar to (J's )center roll adjuster with Camber function and camber plate. It says 3-5 Camber functionality but when I brought it to my performance shop he told me that I need top ball mounts and recommended SPC. My question is, why wont the hardrace kit bring the top of my tires in enough, according to him? I wasnt aware of top camber ball joints vs bottom camber adjusting.

Js racing / hardrace push the bottom of the wheel out while SPC pull the top of the wheel in. Two different ways of achieving basically the same thing except you get a wider track width with the Js / hardrace joints. Those must be 17x9.5 +32 if you're having problems rubbing, correct? What is your current alignment? Oh and you don't need SPC joints!

Yes 17x9.5 32. I'm not sure what my alignment is currently as I was going to get aligned after achieving the desired camber setting so I don't rub. Also I'm not sure why he is saying I won't get enough by pushing the bottom out opposed to pulling the top in.

You should be able to achieve the same camber figures from each joint. I think he was trying to say the SPC joints would make it *slightly* easy to clear due to their design (pulling the to of the wheel in more vs pushing the bottom out more). Those wheels are not terribly aggressive for those fenders and several others have done it using 255s all around. You shouldn't need a lot of camber to clear (I doubt the joints are even necessary). Where is your tire rubbing the fender? Trimming the fender is also another possibility.

Yeah it sounds like that's what he was saying about being "easier". It's only rubbing at the outer edge over larger bumps at speed so I've been careful. I don't want to have to trim into the carbon since these fenders were $$$. I'm just going to have the kit installed as its a better kit than spc. I was just wondering if the same camber angles could be achieved with both kits. Also as was said i dont need too much camber at my current height. Thank you for responding and helping me out!
