S2000 CR Club Racer Edition CR stands for "club racer," conjuring up the good old days when guys drove their sports cars to the track, raced them, and then, if the racing gods were smiling, drove them home again

Type s vs CR

Got it.

The paint code for the wheels is, Kaiser Silver. At least that is what has been documented and discussed over the years.

Here's a photo of my Zanardi "WASHI" gray center caps compared to the CR centercaps, pretty spot on from what I can tell. I'll have to take closer pictures of the wheels side by side by side.

And the Zanardi wheel color: Disk, Aluminum Wheel (17X8 1/2JJ) (Washi Gray Me.) - Acura (42700-SL0-N60)

The thing is, nobody that I know has figured out the Washi gray color code!

My car was close to being a Type-S. It had CR suspension and wheels before, thou I have since sold those now.

From what I have found, the Type S also did not have the quicker CR/AP1 steering ratio. On a Best Motoring episode during a test on a faster track, the Type S was still 3 seconds faster than a standard AP2 due to its aero.
