I already have an ODB2 adapter ($10 on Amazon) so I don't need that. There is a TPMS add on available but since I don't have the sending units on my tires I'm not going to bother with that either,

I am however getting the backup camera. And I THINK this is the harness. https://www.joyingauto.com/honda-and...t-harness.html

Hmmm. There are two versions, the -1 and the -2. Now I'm not sure which to get. Looks from the URL like the -1 version supports 5Ghz wifi. Although both have the 5Ghz icon.

I can't tell what the difference is. I compared the specs side by side using the compare function and they are the same.

Update: I think the -2 is just a newer interface.

Note that the install posts are for the JY-HOS01N4GS-2, which is no longer available. Newer one is the JY-HQS01N4G-1 or JY-HQS01N4G-2. Near as I can tell the only difference is that the old one is Android 8.1/Intel and the two newer ones are Android 10/Octa-Core (same speed). The -2 version has a "new interface" but they don't show enough of it to tell which is better.

Can anyone tell me which ASWC model to get for this unit? There's the AXSWC and the ASWC-1, what's the difference?

Do you think it’s worth adding the amps to power the speakers then and not use the headunit itself? Where do you stow this amp? I wasn’t planning on adding one in but if it’s essential I might do.
I definitely think it's worth it adding an amp. You can add under the psngr seat, behind it, in the spare wheel area, even inside the wheel. Trunk is a possibility too. Sound will be much louder with amp.

The new interface sucks. It has a static clock on the right side which you cant move. But you can revert to the old interface when you receive it. They can email you the software. Just reach out to support.

I have the ASWC-1. I don't know the difference but I'm sure you can look online and find out.

I don't think I bought anything extra, so either my audio install shop just spliced what I already had on the OEM one, or they used some generic harness. I'm leaning forwards the first option.

If you're talking about the adapter harness that plugs into the car's radio harness you want something like
the
Metra 70-1721 Metra 70-1721
. Note that originally this harness did not have pins/wires for the s2000-specific dash and
mute switch wires, though newer versions probably do since Metra sells dash control interfaces.

Good point. That's definitely what I already had as that page says "You last purchased this item on May 14, 2018." Forgot I had purchased it when I upgraded the system originally to an Alpine unit.

Toecheese, get that harness.
