Awkward cluster colour

Default Awkward cluster colour

So I'm picking up a s2000 this week everything went perfect the only thing I noticed strange about it the cluster was in like a green light colour instead of red/orange should I be concerned about this or do you think the bulbs where changed sometime down the road thanks, 2002 ap1

You can change the color of the cluster.

I've seen that site before but the colour wasn't on that it's like a dull light green that's why I was concerned

Someone likely put a green filter over the oem incandescent bulbs, which gives a dull colour as the bulbs are not a true white colour. If you put the green filter over white LED's like the Qube product you end up with a brighter/cleaner green colour.

So what's the best way to get it back to the orange/red colour take out the cluster and remove the film?

Is their any other alternatives for the colour of the cluster being this way? Your from London ontario I can send you pictures of the cluster if you want

Yes. You take it apart and either a) remove the film or b) if it has the qube LED setup, find a replacement stock dash and transfer the display part.

If your dash looks like this, https://www.flickr.com/photos/qube-e...57606442341250 you have the qube setup, which is slightly more complicated to revert to stock.

Also, why did you post this in car talk? Have a mod move it to the appropriate sub forum and you'll get better responses.
