So i bought the blitzsafe ipod adapter for my S2000 a few months back. It didn't work.

I got in touch with blitzsafe about it and they asked me to give them a schematic of the wiring harness on the back of the stereo.

A month or so went by and then i finally got a call saying they have a new IC for me to try.....then i crashed my car a little bit.

A few weeks later the IC showed up, but my car was still in the shop. Got the car back today and put in the new IC into the adapter and gave it a shot.

It works.

I had to turn the HU off, then back on for it to recognize the adapter the first time, but now it works. Display read CDC when the ipod is hooked up and you press the aux button. I didn't try the "steering wheel" controls becasue i don't really care to have the ipod work through there anyway, and it slipped my mind.

I have no idea how one would order this new adapter, but they have one that works.

umm...nevermind, it stopped working this morning...

 

That sucks man. I didnt think Blitzsafe made an iPod adapter for the S. I thought all their adapters were for Civic, Accord, Pilot, etc. I have not seen one compatable with the S yet (maybe I missed it).
