Alright cool.

Well, now it looks like this (Prices according to ACARAUDIO.COM):

1) Alpine 9831 ($329)
2) Focal 165KP ($399) - OR - Focal 165K2P ($479)
3) Eclipse 10" Aluminum sub ($249-269 depending on model) - Phil?
4) Alpahsonik PMA4150 ($399)

Sound good now?

Everything sounds good....

You can save even more money...

Alpine 9831 $258.95

Great feedback....

Id get it from them.

If you dont feel comfortable with EBAY buying, get it from www.ikesound.com for $280. I got my DVD player from them, and it was great!
But get it from the ebay auction,
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...3095549548&rd=1
If you get it from the site directly, its $295

Focals.....
for the money you save from everything else, spring for the 165K2P's. Its only 80 bucks, and you wont remember that you spent it, but the speakers are in your car indefinetely.

For the sub....Phil or John will chime in and set you up.

As for the amp, I think its a great deal on a great piece of equipment.

SWEET!

Time to buy some goodies! I'll wait for Phil or John to Chime in before getting everything together.

Thanks!

I ordered my Alpine 9813 and my 4 coax speaks for another car from Etronics. I was pleased with their business and would order from them again. In fact, I may order my head unit for the S2k from them if I choose not to go with an Eclipse head this time.

Ok From what I understand and from what I read the Eclipse be your better choice, just make sure you pump some serious juice into that thing.

Everything else looks good.

I'm not sure which Eclipse aluminum 10" sub to get. They make two different models.

The SW8102.4 or the SW8102DVC.

The Alphasonik should have enough power for the sub (~400-450w) when I have the 3/4 channels bridged for bass.

Once I know what sub to get, I'll order everything I need!

Thanks!

Oh yeah, do I need a DCI controller? If so, where can I get one, and what am I looking for? The link about Lucid's or Modifry's didn't work on the forum.

Teh DCI link worked for me:

Try this Nate:
Lucid DCI link

Listen, i'm a young funky electronics junkie puppy. (As a graphic designer, they shove me in a dark room for most of the day with nothing but a MAC to keep me entertained, consequently I have morphed into a electronics junkie post whore) Dave, Phil, and John are the old junkyard dogs. Listen to them first and foremost. But I think they would agree that the DVC sub has more wiring options and your alphasonik amp is stable at two ohms, so i would think the DVC (dual voice coil) is the way to go.
