Default Car start issue after audio install

I have a 08' at a reputable audio installing new HU, speakers and amp. The car will not start now. Ignition lights come on, engine turns over, but it will not start.

They have reinstalled old unit, but still the same issue. Tried second set of keys as well.

Any ideas? Still at audio installer.

Amp in the trunk? They didn't put it above the gas tank and maybe damage the wires to the fuel pump? Can you hear the fuel pump run for 2 seconds when the ignition is first turned on?

the car is at the Honda Dealer now, I did not get a chance to see the install location of the amp. All ignition lights come on, press the start buttom, engine turns over, but doesnt start. I will mention your point on the fuel lines, thanks!

Sounds like an immobilizer issue.

yes, that was my guess, but after 6 hours at the Honda dealership, that doesnt seem the issue. a reprogram shouldnt be a large task.

They are now checking the pcm and connection wires for issues. This had become quite a hassle.

Thats why I almost always do car work myself Because even if I screw up and break it... I know exactly what I touched if something goes wrong. I would just remove the wiring they installed and return it to factory and bring it to a better shop to have it reinstalled. Installing a sound system in an S2K is a piece of cake. How they screwed it up I have no idea.

I hope that shop is paying the bill to have this all fixed.

It was a wiring issue, they had the pcm replaced at the dealer and it is fine now. they were very professional and commucative while covering all the costs. The new soundsystem sounds great i might add!
