William, I read on a couple of audio forums online that their version one K series was having tons of problems. No problem though as you are testing the v2. I am going to complete my box today for the Alphasonik 10.

as i recall correctly, they did have some former joint problems w/ the much older K and the previous A series quite a while ago. but they have since redesigned those both and have resolved all those issues iirc.

William,

Just out of curiousity, does the 10" sub also have a grill?

Well it is a standard excursion 10" so plenty of grill options.

Had to drive the Pilot the last few days due to Christmas shopping issues so I did not get the sub tested out. Will be driving it the next few days though.

Can you keep me abreast of any e8a grill updates? I would desperately like to have grills on my subs. Occasionally, grocery bags hit my woofers Do you know if the Soundstream 10" sub grill would clear the 8" subs we have at full excursion?

How are the kids doing?
