Congrats on the install, then! All of a sudden, I'm not set on MB Quart anymore!
I put the included grills on the woofers to make sure nothing interfered with their travel...
Hey guys! Back to the MB Quart topic: They should fit! Has anyone heard the Q-series? I think they are quite good...

Something to be aware of...the measurements posted on my webpage are for Michelle and Michelle only. Stooks vary by a few mm +/-, so while the DynAudio may work for shaner's baby, this may be too large for others...measure twice, cut once.
And DAMN, I'm going to let djqube plan/draw-up my next upgrade to Michelle

Shaner,
I have heard the Q-Series and thought about it for the Stook. I decided to drop down a notch to the Reference Series. If I had a lexus, mercedes, BMW, etc, I would have gone with the Q-Series. However, IMO audiophile quality speakers are not put to their best uses in our car, although the Reference Series are very very good speakers. I wanted something that would sound VERY good, but I just didn't think the Q's would be money well spent given our acoustics or lack thereof.
I couldn't be more pleased with the results I have in my car (unless and until you techies get that Alpine adapter working!)
Just my $.02

I have heard the Qs and they are awesome! I am trying to decide among these speakers:
1. MB Quart Q216.8
2. Infinity Kappa Perfect 6.1
3. Polk/Momo MM455 (coz the 6.5" MM465 won't fit)
Since I have heard the Qs, I am leaning towards them. They are a bit pricey tho... approx $600 ~ $800 depending on where you buy them.

Hi,
I just had Circuit City, yes, Circuit City install my MB Quart PSC-216's and they're awesome! Also installed a SoundStream Reference 604, 4x150 amp on the wall in the trunk. And had them install 2 10" MTX series 6000 subs, flush in the trunk hole.
Of course, it sounds infinitely better, but muddy, due to the crumby head unit. Am waiting for the Alpine CDA-7878 mp3/sattelite ready head to be released.
Oh, I had the 1" titanium tweeters installed in the A/C vents. It is a great location, stealthy, and still looks stock. Imaging is very good. If there is any high end dampening by the vents themselves, it is more than compensated by their inherent brightness.

I have a pair of BM Quart PCE-216 (Premium) on the door. The tweeters fit fine in the stock tweeter location but the installer had to create custom bracket for the 6.5 speakers. I also "dynomat" the door area. It sounds awesome and speakers are driven by alpine cda-9815.
