How do i remove the trim around the cluster?

Angry How do i remove the trim around the cluster?

Im trying to take the trim part from around the cluster out... i need to replace a bulb in the knobb for hot cold switch... hope that make some sense

There are two phillips head screws undernear circular shaped caps just above the tach area. These caps can be removed with a flat head GENTLY. After removing those, the rest of the trim should just snap out. It has been a while since I took one off though, so there may be another. I think you may have to remove the trim around the steering column as well for more room. That is also held by phillips from underneath.

yeah the upper sterring column one i cant get out and its holding the trim from coming out ! Is there a trick to getting the upper part out ?

You also need to drop the steering colume to get it out, which means you need to remove the cover around the steering colume... be very careful as if you do it wrong you can break the clips that hold the two pieces together... than the only way to fix that is to buy a new one.

OK... and a few of my friends were saying if you take the bulbs out of the cluster it makes it look kinda cool with just the cluster backround lighting up without the bulbs shining down on it.... anyone have a pic of what this looks like ?

What blubs shining down on it? There aren't any... its lights up from behind.
