How would I hardwire my Pocket PC into car like Radar Detector?
Probably should just PM MacGuyver and Modifry, but does anyone know how to do this?
I have a Dell Axim, with a CF GPS unit and I don't want to use the cigarette lighter if I do not have to use it. It interferes with my shifting in the S2000. In my SUV, I couldn't care.
I expect it to be similar to hardwiring a detector.
An alternative would be a way to wire a replacement cigarette lighter to the front of the car, if this is not reasonable.
P.S. I have a detector hardwired into the car and a homelink module as well - not sure if that factors into the equation.
