I have a Neo Ion, which is actually a Dension. It is great, easy install. here is the link to my install and a pic.

the Neo Ion doesn't come with a dock, the Dension Ice Link does.

The cradle i am using is the one that came with the ipod, i just cut off and filed down the clip on the back and mounted it on a wedge. sits in nice and tight.

Hope this helps.

Chris.

I routed mine through a drilled hole in my golvebox. it's held in place by the elastic band. This way it keeps out of the sun and out of sight.

That's how I have mine mounted also.

I also routed mine into the glovebox. Here is a pic of the install.

I bought one of those sticky pads that are sold in the iPod accessory area at Best Buy and cut it to fit the spot under the elastic band. I drilled a hole in the back of the glovebox and ran the cable up to the iPod. You can't see the hole since modifry's glovebox organizer hides it.

I like the proclip mount a lot - it mounts to the left of the shifter at about a 30 degree tilt. Very easy to see and operate without being too distracting. I use it with the neo ion. The total setup is a bit pricey for what's basically a couple pieces of plastic and an adapter cable, but worth it.

I like it hidden and out of the way. Alpine makes an adaptor that allows control of the ipod form the radio itself
Here's where I put mine

Mitch

1st mod- before the adaptor

My version of the amp rack. It bolts down using the Spare tire Bolt. The JL 500/5 fits behind the bold for easy access. I mounted my XM tuner on the bottom side of the rack
