Don emailed me a couple of days ago to say that they were scratching the 3 6" project and instead they are going with 1 10" 10W0. More info to come.

 

I still want a friggen box for the floor! Yea yea I know I was gonna just stick with shakers.....but I still might have to drop in a 10 or even squeeze in a 12 into that floor!!!!!

See if you can sqeeze 2 10" subs in the trunk where the tools are hidden. It may fit.

I've got a JL 10' in a custom made removable box in the well, and it's powered by a Rockford Fosgate 120 and it's almost too much bass. The technician who installed it told me that the trunk and convertible well work like another box and retain a lot o the bass that's usually lost in convertibles. I have to turn the bass down on most tunes because my 10' blasts me right out of the driver seat. I'll post some pics soon. One thing I have noticed and not been a real fan of is when the top is up. Yes, the bass is even louder, but the convertible well rattles like you wouldn't believe. When it's down the top stabilizes the plastic well so it doesn't make the noise. So I guess I need to get a hard top.
