Default Just ordered a Valentine One!!!!!

Hey All!!!!

With a little research I finally realized that Valentine One might be the best radar dectector out there. Although it is a little pricey. I'm planning on just hard-wiring it and mounting it by the sun visor. Does anyone have any tips on installing or functions on the Valentine or any precautions? I hope the radar will prevent me from getting any speeding tickets.

Man!
This S2000.....You just can't stop speeding. I feel like I'm going so slow on the freeway but when I check my dash I'm usually going like a hundred plus!!!!

Anywayz any comments will be greatly appreciated.

Thanx
Mike'

Just don't have the V1 plugged into the other side of the cable when doing the install. And if you DO disconnect the battery, you should disconnect the positive terminal, not negative...negative is connected to the car's body, therefore keeping battery and car at the same potential.

if you are not using the S2000 slot in the console that is for the hard top hearter control -- the Valentine remote control fits nicely there ... I did not ward wire mine and simply used a single velcro piece in the center of the dash for the head -- the remote is in the slot for the heater control ....

don't have any photos -- sorry --- but it's an easy install -- I simply used velcro to attach the remote to the slot in the console ---
it's easy to run the wires where they will not be seen -- and remember the slot in the console is just inches from the power outlet .. it's a no brainer
