Default Keep blowing fuses

About two days ago my amp quit working. The fuse under the hood was blown. I checked all connections and put in a new fuse. Blew instantly. I have now taken my car apart in hopes of finded a bare spot on either the remote or power wire and after checking both all the way back, I found nothing. Any idea of what else would blow a power fuse. Thanks in advance.

amp is bad....
take out the power wire out of the amp
tape it up
see if it blows

that will tell you if it is the wire or the amp

Check your lighter socket and make sure there is no loose change in there then goto the amps and such. Good luck.

Its not the amp. I just finished hooking it up in my other car and it works just fine. I dont know what else to do except rewire the whole thing.

Now I just ran a power cable on the outside of the car to see if it was the power cable. When I started the car it popped the fuse. Then to check the remote wire i disconnected it and just jumped it from the power, still popped. Is there a chance that the fuse holder in the front of the car could be bad somehow. not sure how but maybe???

Just changed to a different fuse holder. Still doesnt work. I have put amps in every car I have ever owned and never had a problem this confusing. Ive tried everything. A bad ground would just prevent the amp from turning on right, not pop fuses. THe ground wire is the only one I havent disconnected and changed, but the connection looks fine and the wire looks fine.
