Default Little Confused

I've been looking to upgrade the HU for a while now and got a great deal on the DEH-P6800MP. I really liked all the features, particularly the IPod connection. But my question was conserning the DCI. I'm just not sure where or which one I need to get. The only link that I found on Pioneer HU mentions every HU working but this one. I don't see to many ppl with this HU, so does anyone know specifically which one to get. And is absoulutely sure the that all the dash control features will work?

For the iPod connection, did you need to buy something extra (a cable set?)
Also, how was the iPod integration (how easy to scroll through songs, etc.)?

I got the iPod adapter from best buy it was like $40. It was a pretty easy install, just plug right in. I ran the wires past the shifter into the storage compartment. It works pretty much identicle to the scoll wheel on the iPod. I haven't noticed any diference in the features that the HU did not do for you.

Not 100% sure, but PAC has a DCI interface available for that HU, so I would imagine that one of the Modifry units would work as well. Here is a link to supported decks, but as it says in the text, just because it isnt listed doesnt mean it wont work. I'd shoot Modifry an e-mail and ask. If there isnt one, Im sure he can make one. But Im pretty sure his will work:

I would recommend Modifry over PAC because I hear PAC has lag, and also Modifry's unit have more functions SPECIFIC to the S2000.
I ordered mine yesterday!

The DCI from Modifry is the way to go. It plugs right into the back of the headunit. Just take that white plastic cap off and plug it in.
