Hi i wanted to purchase the modifry kit for my cda 9855 but it said that you were out of stock right now.

I was just wondering how long it would take till they get a new shipment (or you make more...)

I really need this, i was planing on installing my stereo within the next 2-3 weeks.

email him direct. he can tell you for sure. once you buy from s2ki they forward the next day and modifry ships. i got mine in 2 days.

 

Modifry is working on a new design for all the DCI models due to a shortage of the microporcessor that he's been using until now. I don't have any further info on an availability date.

 

i have a dci unit taken off my car a while ago,
stll sitting in room...
it doesn't work that great,
seems like it keeps "forgetting" the code.

is that one of modifry's units? they shouldn't forget as the code is hardwired in.....

 

Any idea when the new unit will be available? I'm waiting to upgrade until these are for sale again.

 

Modifry told us he will be able to start shipping DCIs again next week. We have some backorders to deal with and those will be takne care of first. As soon as I have confirmation that the units are shipping, I'll enable them for purchase in the store again.

I aploogize for the DCI out-of-stock situation but am pleased to announce that back-orders will start shipping tomorrow (11/15). I've notified JP at the GoFastLab to start accepting orders again but bear in mind that back-orders get first priority so if we get swamped with new orders (I wish) it might be a few days before they ship.

The new DCI is functionally identical to the original but has different dip switches, so I have to put together some documentation to describe the changes. Installation, wiring, and operation will be no different than the previous DCI, at least for the first units to go out.

The new DCI is capable of some additional features but I haven't had time to work them all out or decide which ones to offer. In a few days I'll post a new thread to get some input from y'all on what's worthwhile and what's not. In the meantime, start thinking of features you'd like to have, but keep it simple and related to HU control.
