Default need help asap!

I took my aftermarket headunit out of my car a while back.
At the time all the dash controls worked with the unit,Ive tried to re fit the unit today but I dont know which wires to connect to get the dash controls to work again.

The headunit is Alpine.

Heres some pic of the wires

Thanks

The pink wire is mute, the blue is remote and the one that looks like a earphone plug gos into the Alpine.

I suggest you ditch that harness and dash control. Get the modifry Alpine PNP harness with the DCI, everything just plugs right in easily without that mess.

Nothing wrong whatsoever with that harness, mine's been working perfectly for many years.

I think that alpine unit needs to be re-programmed in order for it to work with your dash. As previously suggested, get the modifry dci. I've had mine for years and still works awesome today.

Whoops, after doing some googling, i just realized it's a plug and play unit specifically for our cars.

Let's start by looking at the thick black wire. What pin(s) are those connected to on the harness? I can't tell in the pictures.
Towards the bottom of this page, you can see the pinout of the harness, that way we can find out what's already connected.

It's connected to the internal headunit wire!
