Laser Interceptor works, period. If you see any sites posting negative results with the Laser Interceptor, odds are that they are selling a competing product. Guys of Lidar is a reputable site. If you don't trust them see if you can locate a laser jammer testing meet near you and see it in action for yourself against various guns.

Again, you're setting yourself up for massive fail and a false sense of confidence. You can't count on scatter. Feel free to try though.

 

Lazers typically produce little to no scatter, this is why you are F-ed when you finally do detect it.

 

ive got the passport srx system and the laser jammer has saved me on a number of occasions... the radar detector seems less than adequate tho

Again, I highly recommend spending some time at a jammer testing meet. LIDAR guns aren't quite as straightforward as everyone thinks. It's really not uncommon to have difficulty getting a lock and it's not uncommon to get jam codes -- especially with the Laser Atlanta.
