Sounds like the Pioneer option would leave me wanting more bass.

I wanted to keep it simple, so I got the Alpine Power Pack for my door speakers (Pioneer component), I've got an Alpine HU and the bluetooth module, so it was the simplest option.

Both the amp and the Power Pack run directly off the battery with remote switching from the HU accessories line.
