opening top while moving?

when removing, pull towards the rear of the car, this thing breaks easy!

I had done this mod on my AP1 a long time ago, and I just did it on my AP2. I am 6'2" 195 lbs, and I was able to squirm my way underneath the dash w/ a flashlight, and snip the wire with some long scissors w/out having to remove the panel. Literally took me 2 minutes. Just an FYI (sorry to bring this thread back from the dead).

Ya, it's really easy. just snip the black and white wire.

Nice I was wondering if this was possible or not b/c we were out cruising last weekend it was a beautiful day then all of a sudden out of no where it began pouring, it really sucked to find a place to pull over park and pull the ebrake the car was soaked by that point
