Default pioneer 7900

well i just got the new pioneer 7900 i think.. i got it off my friend..it has all the ipod cable jack and the mic for the bluetooth.. i havent installed it yet cuz im am very new with installing headunits my self.. where do you guys suggest i run the ipod and mic cable too and how will the new headunit stay put.. i dont think the brackets on the oem will fit on the new one

The ipod cable is up to you. I ran it right into the net thingie on the passenger side tranny tunnel, as I take my ipod out all the time. If you want a permanently installed one, you can run it to the center console. As for the bluetooth mic, run it to the driver's side visor, up through the A pillar.
