Anyone have any experience replacing the stock speakers with these. I have gotten some mixed opinions about mounting depths and what you can and cannot put in there using spacer riings and the like.

I can get a very good deal on Planet Audio products and it is my personal opinion that they are a very good product for the money. I am trying to avoid the neeed to put sub in the trunk as my S2K is a daily driver and I sometimes need the space. Which brings up another question, is it possible to put a rear tire in the trunk with the JL stealthbox in place, assuming that I do decide to put a sub in there?

 

Never heard of them....if they are not expensive, give them a shot.

As for the sub, im not 100% sure I understand what you are asking......

 

No, a flat tire would not fit with the stealthbox. Either the sub or the tire would have to go in the passenger side or be left behind.

Check out what WLaurent has done with his sub enclosures. Very slick idea, and would save your trunk well.
