Default polk momo mm6??

I just bought the component set off of ebay and I recived the speakers today and they look huge!! I tried doing a search to see if anyone has tried to put these in but nothing good came up. So my question...will these fit?? I have already cut my stock speaker holder thing so the permanent mods dont bother me. Please let me know! thanks!

From what I know, they don't fit. The 5.5's fit with a little custom work but 6.5's don't fit

I work at circuit city in the car stereo department, and I spoke to my installers and they said it will not fit. The reason being the magnet is too big and there is not enough depth in the door.

well....despite all the people that said no they wont fit I went ahead and tried it. three hours and lots of cutting later....they are in. I was too tired to put in the tweeters and the crossovers so that is a tonight project. I cut the stock thing that the stock speakers sit in till there was just a ring and the four holes for mounting it to the door, then I put that back in the door, put the polk inside that thing and then hoping that the ring would absorb all the vibration I mounted the four screwes from the speaker to the door itself. The door panel was a very tight fit back on, but once everything was back together I cranked up my fosgate 4 channel amp and it sounds hella good (no vibration like I was hoping). Now if I could just make some 6.5"s fit behind my seats......
