I had a Bel vector sti which died after 2 years and a 980 which is still running about 3years. My fiance presently uses the 980 and I have a Valentine1. Arrows are a nice feature and after having them, you can't go back. I read a lot of people typing that cliche, but after having one, it's really true. I've had the V1 over a year now and I'm satisfied. I'll probably pick up another one when the fiance changes cars.

I have friends with the x50 and the fiance's younger bro has a 8500. All seem very similar in detection distance so it's all about what you want to spend. Any one of the 3 are fine

Not to knock you or anything, but...you havent gotten caught not because of your radar, but because you are either....careful, or lucky.

K40s, (ive owned 3 of them) are incredibely overpriced, and have been proven time and time again, NOT to work.

Plus, who cares if they are not detectable if they are legal?

If they were 200 bucks, I would be ok with it, but for 1200+ install, no way.
I totally agree with what he says about the K40 - overpriced and NO WAY as effective as the Valentine in any circumstances!

In college I worked for a high end dealer installing K40's at about $1200 a pop and even with our employee discounts, I would not put one in my car - had a V-1 instead

When customers asked, I just told them I like the portability...hahaha j/k

Truth is if you speed enough - you will get caught but the Valentine is as close as you can get to a second eye to help you out.

K40 is for those rich people who "think" they have the best cuz they paid the most...hahaha - sorry to say but true.

One of the only jammers that actually works is the Laser Shifter by Passport, but it's only for laser, which is pretty rare.
