Still trying to get some good, minimal cutting/drilling suggestions for mounting my amp rack in the trunk. Here's what I have so far...
I have an Infinity Ref 1211a mounted to the left side and will be adding a 7521a to the right side on a shelf where that slot is, so it will have to support a bit of weight. Whatcha got???
you could either use a few pieces of angle iron with some snaps attached instead of screws (for removability), or run a few strips of sheet metal vertically to form the support. Someone on herehas something similar (I believe his amps are Zapco's and they are mounted to the metal strips, and the wood rack is basically just a trim cover.....look through the recent threads....I saw it a day or so ago. He also got into an accident, and had to rebuild the rack....

I think I got it figured out. I did something similar to what you are talking about. I am waiting for my friend to go buy us some more MDF so I can fabricate the final design of my panel. Thanks!
