Default Sub in spare tire well

I managed to mount a pdx05 right on top of what i think is the fuel tank. I was thinking of placing a shallow mount 10" pioneer inside a box downfiring in the spare tire area. With the spare gone of course. I've seen it done here on s2ki, so I know its possible. Anyone think this is a bad idea? I like the fact that the entire trunk remains open, and the system is hidden. I'm worried about it sounding like crap though. Thanks in advance s2kiers.

The only person i saw on here with a 12"sub in the tyre area said that with the top down the sound was very poor. Why dont you do or make a footwell sub for the passenger foot well. Still totally stealthy, better sound as its in the cabin, and you get to keep the spare, if that matters?
