Tactile Transducer
If am looking down a new route for a little bass without the usual mass and weight. I ran across this inducer component sub from Rockford Fosgate, the IBeam IB-200. Its small enough to mount under the seat and I was just curious if anyone had any firsthand experiences. I am familiar with transducer speakers in a home environment where they vibrate the floors or walls to create sound. I have just never seen an automotive application.
I am not saying I am going to buy one right now, just researching. It says it 250 RMS and only 6-15/16"W x 2"H x 4-5/16"D. Also a range of 20-800 hz. It sounds good on paper, but how is it in reality? Thanks ahead of time.
