Ok so I hardwired my V1 using the accessory plug by the fuse box, and I wired it through the headliner and have the wire coming out by the rear view mirror. I've switched out the power cord to a new one once already. But do any of you put some sort of insallation around the cord where it touches the plastic. I think this is what is causing the power cord to fail. I also get some weird vibration noises when I go over hard bumps coming from the top of the windshield area.

The v1 keeps freezing with all the lights on(I know this is a power cord failure) but what could be causing it. I'm thinking the cord is being rubbed between the plastic and is possibly cutting into the wiring. Has anyone else had this problem?

Or could it be something else?

 

do you have the remote display??

mine would do the same thing if the remote display button got stuck
