I work at best buy doing car installs, and if I was to pick any of the 3 I would break it down like this.
IMO
Sony: easy functions to scroll through, has BT (although it has a built in mic, so the quality is not the greatest) free install. (still need the harness, and the if the install bay charges for removing and replacing the ISO brackets)
Alpine Ipod ready although it doesn't come with the cable. second easiest to use function menus. no free install (50 at best buy, plus harness 22, and some charge for iso bracket removal and install which is 20), BT module is 200 and extra to install, although the sound quality is way better because of the external mic.
Pioneer: I absolutely HATE their menus and the way they are controlled. But some people love it. BT module is 200 and extra to install, although the sound quality is way better because of the external mic. Come with the iPod USB cable, unlike alpine and sony. Paying for all install and related parts/labor.
You decide from there. That is my opinion on all 3 since I install these daily at bestbuy. Personally installing a deck on the S2000 is one of the easiest cars to do it on. Get the harness, and do it yourself. It is just matching colors on the harnesses.

I am located in Los Angeles btw. Thx for your cool review on all 3 units. I guess it will come down to me actually messing with them in the store and see how the scroll wheels work best on each model. I also found out Circuit City does free install with ANY HU. SO there is another option too. I should start ordering my modifry.com cable huh? I hope it isnt too hard to DIY.

Modifry DCI should be installed when you do the headunit, because
first step is to remove the headunit.
what you'll want from Modifry is the DCI (little box) and a harness, which
is similar to the one you'll get from CC or BB, but will have all the necessary
wires which may not be true of theirs.
if you decide to go Alpine, Modifry makes a totally plug&play harness for
a few bucks extra that makes DIY installation truly a breeze.
to get you started on deciding whether you feel comfortable DIY, check out:

these instructions are for 2000-2003, but a later car is only slightly
more difficult.
