Where to cut hole in rear panels?
I want to install some Kenwood XR501's in the rear (like LUCID's). I was wondering where I should cut the hole. What is the best way of marking the cutout to ensure that the speaker will fit?
Hi:
Here is a link to the photos I took when I installed my system. Rember that this is an 03. Down the page you will find the cutouts for the rear speakers, the max magnet size is 3 in. I'm not certain about the depth the speakers could mount on the front of the panel BUT you will loose some movement of the seats.

If you have any questions PM me.

don't waste you time, go with the s-pods, much better sound, more room, less messy...
I don't like S-pods myself, the speakers are to close to your head. You can't balance them properly because there just to close... but that's my opinion, and I've heard both. If they where to the side of your head like the older Miati M a speaker on each side of your head, that MIGHT sound better if you have the right setup, but even then maybe not.
There made nice and from quality material just not my cup of tea... or coffee for that matter...
