I installed a separate microphone and rear camera and both work great. I'm really impressed with a WalMart product! I just recently installed an under seat subwoofer from Amazon - a Rockville RW68CA 400w 6x8 Slim Under-Seat Active Powered Car/Truck Subwoofer Sub. It was only $89, so it was worth a try. It doesn't make a huge material difference in sound, but helps by adding fullness to the 6.5' speakers in the doors. Has anyone done the same? I currently have it resting on the floor and I'm looking for mounting suggestions. I may just apply some velcro on the bottom to fit more securely on the carpet. Any suggestions on mounting the under seat sub are appreciated.
How are you still liking the sub? My 2000 I bought had the mod where there are two speakers behind the seats and adds a lot to the door speakers! Did you put the sub under the passenger seat? Did it fit pretty easily and the seat moves forward and back with no issues?
The sub fits great. There are no issues with the movement of the seat. I currently have it laying under the seat and I need to secure it. Once I get the settings on the sub right, I will do that. I was even able to install it without removing the seats. It slides in through the front side of the seat without any issues. I could not get it to slide in from the back side of the seat. The previous owner installed a huge JBL sub that took up most of the trunk. I got rid of that and rerouted the wires to under the driver's seat for the new sub. For $90, I think that it is worth it. It adds a bit more fullness.
I'm very interested in adding speakers behind the seat like what you have. Can you send me a picture via this thread or a private message? I want to do the same since the door speakers are mounted too low on my AP1.
The previous owner had the rear speakers done. I think I still have the instructions that came with all the paperwork I have on the car. If I do, I'll scan them to a PDF and get it to you.
For folks looking for bass options, I took a gamble and bought this JL Audio CP108LG-W3v3, and it fit perfectly in the spare tire space. I didn't want to sacrifice any trunk space otherwise, and I think it probably sounds a bit better being closer to the passenger area. I paired it with a JL Audio JD400/4 amplifier, attaching to the Power Acoustik head unit. Sounds great! I bought my car already with an old amplifier fuse setup, so it was all plug and play for me. But if you don't have any power line running from the battery, then you'll need to wire that.
I just installed my cw71 head unit and my dci from modify. Before ticking everything away the steering wheel controllers worked but once I got everything put away and the dci out the side where the passenger netting is, the controls don't work anymore. I was able to get it to work one other time but other than that once I turned the car off and then back on everything works except the steering control. Does anyone know what could be the issue?
Which mic did you use? Is it a 3.5mm or 2.5mm? And which port does it go into? I don't see it on the diagram in the manual. Thank you for your help

Use the Wal-Mart app, and if it’s sold out (as it was for me at many nearby locations) it might be in stock somewhere.

It's been a while! After selling my S2000, buying an SUV (my first automatic transmission) is already boring me to tears. I no longer look forward to driving! It's a cpo Range Rover Sport. It's luxurious, but feels like I'm driving a bus.
I'm about to buy another S2000 tomorrow. It's been seven months since I sold my 2005 and I'm coming back. Going with an AP1 this time. Anyway.. do we think this will fit in our cars and will the radio cover close over it? Slightly bigger screen and might be just as good or better than the Power Acoustik. https://www.ebay.com/itm/33584240982...saAqsOEALw_wcB
