Default Wiring Experts I need your suggestion

I am about to purchase an Alphasonik psw608 8" sub. I need some help in regards to wiring this up to my amp. I have two choices at the current time, i can use the rear two channels of my sound stream van gogh 500.4 and wire each voice coil individually, running 125 to each coil at 4 ohms (safely), or I can bridge the rear channels to push 500 watts to the sub at 2 ohms(i am assuming parallel, but i am not even sure if i can do this with my amp since it only mentions bridged capacity at 4 ohms). Which do you think would be a better road to take, or is there a better solution. I am undecided yet as to which way to go, need your suggestions. Below are the specs of the Alphasonik 608. The van gogh currently is using the front two channels to run the utopias.

I dont like the sound of a bridged amp to a sub. If your ear is trained enough, youll hear a difference. Wire them one channel per coil. Just my .02

NFR i know you are running the bigger brother version of this sub in the 10 inch size, do you think 250 watts will be sufficient considering they recommend 300 rms. If not this sub what other sub would perform well with only 250 watts and being able to fit a wlaurent box?
