Can you tap into the overhead light near the rearview mirror for power for the V1? If yes, how do you get the lens off, and if no, why not?

Ive seen it done on member hecash's car. It's actually a pretty cool setup. He uses the passenger side light switch to turn it on and off, and it's unpluggable. The install was also pretty clean compared to another install I've seen.

Once I get my V1, it'll most likely go in this spot, seeing that it'll have to be installed to be very portable to my other cars.

You can easily wire it to the dome light use the blue and white wire......saves a lot of time as opposed to going to the fuse block and is actually a much cleaner install. Yellow S2K has his V1 wired this way...check with him.

I had to figure this one out when installing the hardtop. In the side of the clear lens, there are 2 indentations where you can pry it off with a small screwdriver. It's on the side in between the windshield and the light. Then there are two screws and you can take out the casing and the wire clip is exposed on the back side.
