Anyone have this unit in there S2000.

This unit can be remove and play in the boom bax.

do a search, i know at least a couple people have this setup. Andy Kirk does for sure, and has posted about it several times..

OK here is the link to the posting of the older mount I made a couple of mounthe ago. And Hi there Phillip.
Ill get some PIX of the new mount tonight and send them. I have an Alpine 7894 with an addapter allowing the Alpine CD changer as well as the analog output from the Delphi skyfi to be inputed to the HU.

Yep, put one in my S about a month ago. I'm using a gooseneck mount - it bolts down on the passenger seat bolt and holds the unit in just he right place. The bracket on the mount fits right into the slot on the cradle - apparently they are a universal cell-phone mount design that has become popular. I think it's about the best solution for putting one of the removeable receivers in an S2000.

I'll try to take a pic and post it here so you can see if you like it.

Ok, here are some pics.

Note that I used an electric conduit clamp to add support to the gooseneck by strapping it to the center console - that's the silver item you see. I plan to spray paint the clamp black to make it disappear.
