So here is one advantage tha AEM has over K-Pro. Apart from emissions inspection why would someone prefer to use K-Pro over AEM? I remember Endyn posting that he had some issues with AEM and timing and that he would only use K-Pro from now on. I am looking forward to buy a K-Pro or an EMS but i really do not know which one to choose. AEM is significantly cheaper... Is there any reason i should prefer the K-Pro?

so the AEM EMS would be chosen over a Haltech (currently in development) piggyback also for an AP1 with bolt-ons?

i have heard about issues with cold start and AEM, reality or myth?

Cold start just takes some work...but it can be handled with AEM, it just takes having the car be actually "cold" to tune/fix any issues.

Usually we have the car over night and we work on it first thing in the morning.

I have AEM V2, Invidia headers and exhaust. So VAFC for 300 is a good starting point? Past these bolt ons I'm not going to do much else. Maybe a TB... maybe.

I also saw the post from Elite tuning, so I could get a VAFC and they will tune it or let me know what to tune for $115 or whatever it was?

I think a VAFC would work pretty well for your setup.
