Default Kpro: monitoring additional parameters

Is kpro limited to one additional parameter? Which must be wired in to the ELD?

Is anyne monitoring more than 1 additional parameter? If so, what are you using? It looks like the mfd2 by ark is pretty slick, but expensive.

Yeah, you're limited to just one input on the ELD. After that you have to add stand alone gauges or do a digital dash. Dash breaks even cost wise at around 3 gauges, so more up front cost but nice to keep everything in one place. AIM MXL and Racepak IQ3 both have Hondata interface boxes you can buy that'll relay all the standard stuff the Tunerview can display, then you need to wire in your sensors for the extra channels. They both support way more extra sensors than you'd ever need.

Ah, ok, that sucks, i guess ill do the standalone gauge then, this is what i found:

No way to convert the stock oil pressure to be something usable? I read that it is just mechanical?

I like the dual gauge idea. With the TV2 I can see a lot of info, but still wanted fuel and/or oil pressure and oil temp. I was considering putting the fuel pressure in the ELD port on the KPro and then have a dual oil pressure/ oil temp gauge. I have been looking at the SPA dual gauges for awhile as well....

Ah those look cool,too

Im thinking eventually ill have a wideband into the ELD, then the standalone dual gauge for oil temp/oil pressure, and i dont know that i would monitor fuel pressure, as that would be reflected via a/f

how are your cars progressing brandon? I cant wait to see the orange one finished and out and about

Me too. Hope to have Joey's car running in a week or so and then start on orange one again.

Thought you had the RSX wideband setup? I was pretty happy with that for AFR and oil pressure on the ELD all shown on the TV2.
SPA gauges are pretty nice, though. You could buy three of those for what the IQ3 will cost me... hmm.

I didnt go the rsx wideband route because tony said it wouldve been a whole nother tune starting from scratch, so i traded brandon my rsx o2. Wouldve made things easier as far as monitoring things, but couldnt justify spending an extra $450 on something that wasnt "essential".

Yea that was an awesome deal from joey, i was in talks with joey to put it back together for him when you scooped it up, lol.

Those racepaks/aims do look AWESOME molded in to an OEM cluster, i guess im still trying to keep costs low, hahaha...

Ah, gotcha. Actually that's another downside to going the digital dash route. S2k kpro doesn't support the serial output they need unless you're running the PRB map. It's always something.
