Thanks for the basemap Justin. I just got done installing the CKP plate and sensor, hopefully I can finish the install soon. I'm really excited to try this.

JustinC:

Thank you again for the wiring diagram and basemap! It was as simple as scaling for my larger injectors, uploading and pressing the start button (she lit on the third crank !) The AFR sensor works great and closed loop correction works really fast. I'm looking forward to puttin' her on our dyno and comparing readings between the RSX Denso sensor and our Autronic wideband (five wire NTK).

Why Hondata doessn't make this at least and option (if not standard) is beyond me??? The location of the pins (all neatly in a row D6-D10) makes me think they were going to at one point, but decided not to for whatever reason.

If you have an S2000 K-Pro this is a must!

So, how would one go about using a Five wire LAF sensor? I have one laying around form my insight..

What would the advantages be?

Not sure if that would work, there is no calibration for voltage vs AFR in the ECU when the sensor is wired like ours are. So if that sensor has a different output characteristic the values would be incorrect.

Hey 96-EJ6 or Justin,

Where did you guys pick up the BAT and IG2 sources? I'll be doing this in a couple weeks when my K-Pro shows up. It's hard to figure out the best points with just the helm manual. For me at least

Look at the fuse box under the dash. Their are 3 spades on the side of the fuse box, 1 provides BAT, 1 provides IGN and 1 provides voltage when the headlights are on.

One of these days I will get around to installing my testpipe and testing the RSX sensor side-by-side with our Autronic wideband.

When tuning I noticed just a slight difference in the readings, anywhere from 0.4 AFR richer from the RSX sensor to a perfect match. Please bear in mind that during my last tuning session the Autronic wideband was just in a tailpipe sniffer behind the catalytic converter, and the RSX sensor was in the factory primary O2 sensor location so this may have effected the readings. More to come, eventually...
