One of these days I will get around to installing my testpipe and testing the RSX sensor side-by-side with our Autronic wideband.

When tuning I noticed just a slight difference in the readings, anywhere from 0.4 AFR richer from the RSX sensor to a perfect match. Please bear in mind that during my last tuning session the Autronic wideband was just in a tailpipe sniffer behind the catalytic converter, and the RSX sensor was in the factory primary O2 sensor location so this may have effected the readings. More to come, eventually...
I had the RSX sensor in 1 bung and the PLX wideband in another bung on my header and they read within .1 of each other.

Nice, it's always fun to compare different products.

But at what values? I would imagine anything in the 14's and 15's would probably be close...but when you go rich or lean that's where the discrepency would lie since the RSX o2 doesn't have the same resolution.

well there is a certain point where the plx will read further than the stock wideband, but I actually tested it when I first did the modification and I added a ton of fuel to make sure I could read all the way down to 10:1(on the plx) and it was consistent the whole time

The RSX read down to 10:1? How lean does it read?

lol..no, the PLX did, I just made sure to take it down that far to make sure everything was good. I wasn't sure if the RSX was reading properly so I tested it by adding enough fuel to force the PLX to max out at 10:1 just to make sure the thing was working properly.

I think the RSX can read somewhere in the high 10s low 11s...I think

It peggs lean at about 32:1.

So, let me understand, if I use the standard narrowband S2000 sensor, I have to leave the KPro in open loop all the time?

Also, would my tuner be able to switch from a PRA to PRB settings without any trouble?

no, you don't have to leave it in open loop all the time. Basically instead of telling you your a/f a narrowband just tells you if you are lean or rich based upon the settings programmed. You tell the ecu how much leaner or richer you will allow it to modify your map.

If you switch from a PRA to PRB it will have to be retuned and you will have to have the before mentioned mods in order to run a RSX wideband.
