So I just heard back from Hondata about getting spare pins for the harness and they said they don't carry them and that I should look in a junk yard. Anyone have a better way to source them?

they won't give you ecu pins? Technically if you read the documentation that is given with the kpro they are supposed to include them, but they don't

Yup no dice. I don't have my docs yet as it's still en route from Mase Eng. but that's pretty funny that they mention they're included.

Thanks for the link, though, those will do nicely!

I actually suggested they should consider selling a plug and play harness adapter. Seems like there's enough interest in this that they could make a few sales to those that are interested but shy away from dealing with electrics. Cost them a few bucks in parts and could likely sell them for 4x the cost of components. But, yeah, eight ball says chances are slim.

yeah, they are pretty much not interested in helping us with that. I tried several times myself.

When we made the KPro-S2000 we debated about adding the RSX wideband input, but decided to use the stock S2000 o2 sensor for a number of reasons - cost, simplicity, ease of use, support burden - the main reason being that for the cost of the RSX o2 sensor alone you can buy a complete PLX system and wire that via the ELD.

However, we did add the wideband pins to the adapter board so that if anyone wanted to use the wideband, they could do so on an unsupported basis. Because this is not an officially supported feature, we're not able to provide tech support for this. I would like to think that adding the pinout to the adapter board was worthwhile, and that it is something that I would do in the future, but feel that people need to recognize the difference between a supported and unsupported feature.

Yup, that's fair. Having the pinouts exposed does save us a lot of hassle and is definitely appreciated. I think I'm maybe a little biased because this was one of my deciding factors in going kpro over another solution.

Maybe some enterprising board member will come up with the adapter harness and make a few bucks. In the mean time it's not the most complex thing in the world to wire up thanks to Justin's diagrams and info.

He already wrote the diagrams up, all he needs to do is spend a few bucks and start a group buy to make a few bucks if he gets enough interest. I'm sure we can talk him into it

lol..the problem is...what is it worth...I mean, my time to build them is the problem. Especially if I have a small issue and tech support etc.

It's nothing personal. I just don't want to be liable for anyone's car or ability to do the modification. The only way it would be feasible is if you sent me your d connector and actually let me add the pins to the appropriate positions and then you would still have to wire up the relay etc.... Im just not sure how much of a headache it will be.

No offense to anyone, but some people are very wire capable and others are not so much.

Yeah. I wouldn't want to deal with that either.

Maybe I'll try and snap a few pics of mine and document it when I get around to doing it, we'll see.
