Bolting manifold to head?
So we're pulling my head next weekend (for those that saw my "manifold bolts sheered off" thread, you know why) and I had a thought on how to save some time on re-installing but not sure if there are any drawbacks.
I have a built head sitting in the garage. Are there any negatives to bolting up my turbo manifold to the built head (outside of the car), then installing them as one piece once the factory head is off?
That Full-Race manifold can be a b*tch to bolt up in the car (I've done it twice now). So what do you guys think?
Scott-

if it will slide in without hitting anything go for it. I pull my head with the intake and exhaust mani attached, sometimes I leave the turbo on when I am feeling strong. Its really not all that heavy.
