Mark,

Do you know if the unlocked map that will come with the kit includes lowering VTEC engagement and all the neccesary tuning? If so, what rpm is it dropped to?

TIA

I love how smooth the power delivery is on these things - mine is almost the same (but with less HP), no mid-band power variations - just smoothness.

VTEC has not been moved....

The tq you see is what the system puts out with out moving VTEC.

The harness is already wired up to move VTEC lower if you really want to.

Base map does not currently have tuning for a lower VTEC we have been thinking about doing this to see how much additional TQ can be gained below the standard VTEC.

Although this may be somewhat irrelievant, on my roots supercharged integra we had my vtec engagement point at 3700 rpm and this showed the greatest torque in the midrange. For what its worth, I believe this is evidence enough to at least try it out. William, any luck with the varied pulley sizes?

Have everything ready to go - just need to schedule a dyno session where I can first run the 126mm and then the 135mm in the same session. So it is apples to apples.

Been too busy lately with work and home. Need to do it soon since AZ summer is near and it would be hard to find some cool morning air.

Yeah it will be interesting to here from people who start to get the production kits installed. I am going to pick mine up in the winter or next spring. Instead, I got a real nice retaining wall this summer. yeah.

Tested the kit out at Talladega Gran Prix Raceway on June 6th

http://www.tgprace.com/
minimum of 20 minute run groups
93 Deg F
Humidity varied 50-60%

The kit performed just as expected.

I did have a fuel issue due to hi G loads
Even with 1/2 of a tank due to the full TEIN Super Racing circuit suspension among other changes to the car the amount of G's the car is capable was starving the fuel pump; time for a fuel cell with a baffled tank.
My previous setup was pushing 1.2G.

Picture of the car in the back straight (approx 90mph at the time of the picture)
