BRP/SOT Hotside SC Install
At the end of the 20 min run
** previous statement
Water maxed out at 101C 212F
Oil maxed out at 110C 230F
Note no oil cooler on the car
----------
New info After looking at the video for run 2 of the day
.
Oil still just a little over 110C
Water was just a little under 90C
Tried to take a screen cap but it windows wont pick up the video only the Windows media player banner
Words are one thing proof is another
On my previously quoted data points
**I must have looked over and read oil temp and then at a later time looked over to get the water temp reading and mistakenly read the oil temp again and though that was water; difference between the two reading comes from I looked over after the 2nd lap and then again after the 5th
I am going to a buddies house on the 4th to film and get stills for a video production/commercial of the car and supercharger.

roots oiling is internal to the supercharger
AKA it does not recieve an oil feed form the motor.
The Supercharger Oil is good for over 100K miles.

Currently we are not overrunning the blower. 126mm crank 65.5mm Blower pulley
AP1 is close 33 rpm to the Eaton recommended limit
AP2 is 1891 to the Eaton recommended limit
17280rpm is the manufacture suggested limit but it not like it is an absolute requirement to keep it below that speed.
There is plenty of head room in the intercooler (600hp IC setup) if you want to run it at a higher speed.
If you over run the blower the oil should still last close to the 100K mark.
But the added heat due to over spinning the blower would drive a service interval sooner then the 100K service interval. How much sooner I can not say.
Just depends on what you are doing with the setup. If you are constantly redlining (tracking) then yes it will be sooner; on the street the 100K mark will most likely not be affected by the much.
^i know it's difficult to know without trying but what do you expect the power potential to be by over spinning the blower?
also, will the added heat be an issue for surrounding components above and beyond the modifications required for the standard kit

the added heat will not be a problem remember that the blower is above the header.
the header is contributing more heat the surrounding area then the supercharger.
There have been other places (namely big gulp http://biggulp.home.att.net/) over spinning there MP62' on the 1.8L Miata for years. (cold side with air/water intercooler)
342 rwhp and 310 ft/lbs of torque at 21 PSI and that
