I am still running the stock clutch - now have almost 30k miles on my kit (first 18k with the standard 126mm crank pully and the last 12k with the 135mm pulley). Total miles on the car (and clutch) is right about 70k).

Awesome, I will just stay with the stock until it gives out. I don't ride them and they last pretty darn long for me.

The only clutch I ever had fail went at 122K and I bought the car with 98k on the clock.

Thanks for the response.

No teasing. Just did the taxes last night and my purchase just got put back a month or two. It seems the wife, who makes a poopload more than me was taking very little out of her paycheck for uncle Sam. Now her husband gets to split the $2000 bill with her.

Next time the UPS guy shows up with a box full of shoes I wonder what I should do with them.....

I've wanted a positive displacement SC for my S for a long time now and it's nice to see the SOT kit finally come to fruition (I've been away from s2ki for quite a while now). While my funds for a setup like this won't be available until far in the future (newborns sap away funds quick), I like to keep abreast of the available offerings.
I have quick question about the charger itself. I have a couple of friends that run M90 chargers on K20As with great results. Would an M90 charger provide any benefits to the M62 in the S2000 application? Similarly, what would the cons be with the larger M90 charger?
My ultimate goal is about 350-400whp...the SOT setup seems to achieve the 350whp easily.

Thanks.

The drawback with the M90 would be its size. I think it would be too large to close the hood if you mounted it in the same fashion as the M62.

350whp on 8psi can be done.

as for the m90, like others said, the size is the problem. buuuuuuuuut, the m62 can be repalced with , wait for it, a tvs1320. its a very efficient version of the mp62. at 11psi, i am somewhere around 40ish% efficient, and the 1320 is like 70%!!!!!! lotus guys just started using it. saw one dyno, at 10psi non intercooled, the mp62 iat was at 220ish, the tvs1320, 160sih, non intercooled!

the big problem is that blower is mucho dollars right now. but give it time, should get slightly more affordable. water injection really helps out the mp62 at 11psi though. my iats are real low now, and its summer down in south florida.

looks like you guys got his question answered....

Camuman when are you planning to get back on the same dyno you got your previous numbers on.

Not really looking for the absolute number (since ever dyno is different) but the % gains.

I got my new clutch in over the holiday ( OS Giken Super single).
The engagement is quick but not to quick.
During the bleeding process I held the clutch down for some extended periods of time while a buddy checked for leaks under the car.
So the petal pressure is not too bad. May be 20% stiffer then stock.
Its hard to say because I have had a Mugen pressure plate in the s for a while now so my perspective on force may be a little off.

After I get some mileage on it I will be installing the 135mm crank (finally) and will build the ULT base map for stage 2. Let see how far the Kline 550cc injectors will take me.

Right no I am between 75-78% DC so they have a little left in them.

Still have not received my Asura 3" exhaust it has been almost month and have not been able to get a hold of him.....

Hey Camuman,

I mailed my check last week so I should be getting mine soon. Any tough spots in the install I should look out for and you mentioned something earlier in the thread about rerouting some heater line or something differently. Any parts I should maybe get at NAPA ahead of time for easier install?

I plan to try bending the AC stuff first, and if I don't like it have an AC shop redo them later.
