suggest you put in the colder thermostate and fan switch (they are all over ebay) - here in florida we see it make a huge diffference in the cars drivability
Already running a spoon t-stat and mugen fan switch.

I don't think everyone realizes just how hot it is in arizona. I had the displeasure of its crazy heat last year in july. 90 flippin degrees at night. the pavement is still hot to the touch!

and I had a picture takin of me next to a temp thing showing 114! trust me its hot. I watched water evaporate on the ground so fast. and if your next to the street and a truck pases by the air feels like your standing in front of a oven. ill take my humid wet heat any day rofl. at least when I sweat the breeze cools me off.

I see why his iats are what they are. I bet william is happy there not higher!

fyi for emanage users there is a way to drive the fans w/o having to buy a fan switch.. esp useful for MY06+ guys who cannot use these aftermarket fan switches

the fan switch and tstat discussions were general statements about warm weather conditions and so were my comments.. they apply to other kits besides the roots

You can in fact use the ULT to drive the fan switches but it is a tricky setup.

There is a tab in the setup (Ch Settings) where you can activate a relay if water or IATs get above a set temp.

William is in the 99 percentile for ambient temps And around 90 percentile for maximum altitude the kit will ever be run in.

Because of these extreme conditions he is in the thing that should fix his hi IATs is a higher flow water pump for the IC cooling circuit.
