the only update i can give you is gonna make you smile

i beleive i am the most recent guy to pick up this kit. i am currently running the following:

aem ems
rc 650 injectors
sot/sxm roots blower intercooled at 8psi 135mm pulley
berk header
berk test pipe
asura dual exhaust

heres my dynos from na to 8psi tuned by mase.

349/239 and a fat power band

you can read about my fun here

https://www.s2ki.com/forums/index.ph...=625078&st=325

i have nothing but praise for the guys at statix X, as well as mark. super helpful, very quick with answers. i have looked constantly at dynos of other supercharger kits, and this has the must downlow hp, and a really nice top end for someone that wants 300-350whp, this kit with the 126 or 135 pulley is the answer.

It was brought up briefly in another thread regarding the newer TVS systems available through Eaton. Looking through the different availabilities we mentioned that the 1320 looked to be best suited. However, I've been reading up on the system, mainly on the saturn boards(a lot of then are swapping there mp62 for this unit), and to me it looks like it will not be possible to run as a replacement for this kit. These things are said to run at 70% efficiency. What does the MP62 run at? This may even be a direct swap wfor the kit if all mounting points are identical, but so far I have not been able to find much on the specs of the system compared to the MP62.

Just wanted to bring this up as to discuss options with future buyer that may want even more upgrades. I think easy 400+whp with the tvs.

How are the Saturn guys getting ahold of the 1320s? I have looked for someone who is selling them but couldn't find anybody.

I forget the name, but there was a company making a direct bolt on kit for them...HVT or HVP...something like that.

Found it. Company called Harrop is making a kit as a direct bolt-on for the Cobalt (HTV kit). They are based out of Australia but I will see about what they have available.

i will def look into this down the road. i am very happy right now with the power, both peak and the whole power band. esp since i am just 8psi i thought of maybe copntacting magnuson down the road to see if they could upgrade my blower. i think it would be more appropriate though when i step up to 9-10psi pulley.

if your on the fence and really want 400, trust me 350 is crazy fun

Don't know if WLAURENT still checks in on this thread, but was he using stock clutch?

I plan to be undetaking this in a few months and have the stock clutch. Its only got 28K miles onthe car and I am pretty easy on it so the clutch should be in good shape. If I could get 10,000 miles out of the stocker on this sc kit before the upgrade that would be fantastic, but I guess I could try to scratch up another thou if necessary.........Just might put the project back a month.
