Thank you for responding. I knew they must have tried testing an A2A set-up, but didn't think they would go to the extent they did.

I don't doubt at all that the A2W works great with the kit, but can't help but think a possible v-mount with a A2A cooler might do well with this kit.

I know the miata guys had a 150mm Crank upgrade. Will this not work for the s2k kit?

I'm curious to see your results with the new outlet manifold. I think if someone can think of a way to get the intake system done to be in a better location(possible incorporate a ram air set-up) then this kit would benefit greatly.

yes the 150mm crank will work.

Just realize the the MP62 was designed to run in the 1.35 ( 5.14psi) to 1.65 (9.55psi) Pressure ratio envelope to get the system to run in its maximum efficiency islands.

However history has proven that the 62 performs very well even if over spun and run out of its original intended envelope if properly intercooled.

The PWR intercooler has plenty of head room to take can of the charge temp if you were to over spin the blower.

I would like to see some1 eventually go a V mount setup with this kit.

I am going on DTY for a couple of months so I will not be testing out the new manifold until mid Dec.

While I am going I will also be ordering the necessary part to convert over to the Kpro.

The plan is to install the Kpro and tune the car with the original manifold

Then do a comparison dyno on the same day with the two different manifolds one with no additional tuning and one with tuning if A/Fs warrant a fuel trim change.

I posted this in another thread I though I posted it over here also; My bad.

The Moss style outlet manifold netted @ 5.5 psi
(system is now more efficient hence the lower psi)
Down low (3500-5000) and into the midrange (5000-6000)
Average
15wtq ---12wtq
And
12whp----10whp

My clutch is now slipping in the higher RPMS Above (5700-6000RPMS)
To much WTQ for the Mugen Pressure plate stock disk and Comptech flywheel

Hence
only netted 7wtq
and 2-3hp
up top due to the clutch slipping.)

If clutch would have held the gains of 12wtq and 10-15whp would have continued to redline.

If the clutch was not slipping I could see about 235-240wtq as predicted over a range from 5000-7500

It's now running safer for the motor, more efficient, and making more power....seems like the Moss manifold is a great upgrade.

I am curious because I know you mentioned that SOT will try to work something for the DBW S2Ks once the production of these first kits is out, and they get some money back on them.....however, I would not mind grabbing the kit and working with a local shop to develope a TB that could use the OEM DBW sensors if SOT would permit it.

I know for sure the IM side will be a lot cleaner with the kit then the pre06 is.

Oh and does the supercharger still require a replacement of the bypass actuator unit every 2 years or so? Didn't they start to fail on the miata kits around 30K miles or 2 years of use?

Also out the box the kit comes with the 130mm crank pulley...i think, but what size pulley comes with the kit for the SC nose pulley? I know upgrades are available here as well, and good results should be seen by going with the smaller pulleys.

standard crank is 126mm
Nose pulley is 65.5

I am check on the actuator failure rates. (wondering if the internal design has changed)
And I don
