Why not revert back to a lower boost and just enjoy your SC without playing with a different kind of accident waiting to happen? 9psi isn't too shabby with that meth injection, its earned my confidence Run a little 50-75 shot on top of this to make up the difference if you want.

Propane is helpful for getting an additional run out of a bottle. It pushes the N2O from the top of the tank and keeps it near the pickup. The propane and nitrous oxide have very little mixing.

It's basically used on very large applications like tractor pulls or 500+ inch Vipers.

Not applicable to our use probably but still it is interesting. The lengths racers will go to. Why not just run two bottles.
Propane injection has been used for years as an additional fuel supply with a higher octane rating. It's not uncommon to use propane on turbo and nitrous motors to help with the increased fuel and octane demands.

I've done a little googling based off what you said and I can't find any references towards using propane to get additional runs out of a bottle. How would you get the propane in while getting the nitrous out? Or are you saying people will remove their nitrous bottle and fill it with some propane to displace the nitrous to the top of the tank? Surely this isn't something you can do while driving.

You mentioned this is used on Vipers, and that is true to a degree. BTR for example has been making nitrous+propane injection kits for Vipers for years making HUGE power. However in these cases they are injecting both nitrous and propane into the engine at the same time.

We played around with propane injection in the 3000GT world many years ago but that trend has pretty much died out. Water/meth injection tends to work better and isn't as hard to tune with. Plus, with propane injection you pretty much are required to recirculate your BOV, as venting propane to atmosphere is a no no at the track.

I won't be heading back to sc land for awile if ever again...esp centrifugal blowers...the torque difference between centrifugal and nitrous is just to great for me to be looking at sc's again...now if they would cut the price down on the Sxm Positive Displacement blowers I'd be all over it...I was going to do my own custom positive displ. setup this winter but money and a place to do it were short...and I did miss the N/A feel of the s2000 so this will give me the best of both worlds when I need it and will keep me out of trouble!
