Just look at all the dynos that have been posted up (both on this thread and others). It's just the 'feeling' of loosing power, you should still be climbing in HP numbers, but the feeling of the huge increase of torque on the low end mated with the drop in torque up top is part of the reason why the car begins to feel like its slowing up. The other part is, like other's have mentioned, that the car is more restricted on flow as it climbs to redline due to things like exhaust piping size (and a cat, but you mentioned a TP). If you are running a test pipe w/o the unchanged greddy basemap, you need to get it retuned for optimal performance and safety.
