I am worried about the engine, I hope the aftercooler caught all that metal(guess I gotta clean that out too). That was the first thing on my mind, I guess I should pressure/leak down test it wen all said and done. Wazpe that would b great if u could let me know how ur dyno goes, and I will take a look at tge t-trim too, but I don't think I can safley run anymore psi on stock engine.
Thnx for all ur guys imput, much apprieciated

I got the charger back from rebuild yesterday. Something is wrong still with it. The whining noise is loud as hell in idle. It does seem to work allright otherwise. there isn't any play in impeller, only problem is very loud bearings. Have to check the oil feed for the unit, sounds like dry bearing.

When I blowed my charger, I removed all the chargepipes and intercooler, and it seemed that the ic had stopped all impeller parts, also the metal dust had been stopped in IC.

Ok, Just got back from the dyno. With superchargerrebuilds.com impeller and repair kit, I lost 25% of HP and 20% of torque Also the bearings are making a lot louder noise than originals. That could be normal or because of install, don't know.

My builder said that the impeller looks like it would produce lower pressure and so it did, my older peak PSI were 21-22psi and now it did only 15psi. So the repair with those parts were a lot cheaper than with Vortech parts.

For my it doesn't matter anyhow, I'm moving to turbo next winter, atleast I can drive with the car the couple of months we have season left, but if I were you I would repair the unit at Vortech.

Make sure any metal piece not went in to your engine. 12psi vortech will not cover warranty but its not hurt to ask.

I honestly will skip deal with vortech and upgrade 928 motorsports impeller.

Yep, the 928motorsports impeller is good, there is actual proof of it also. Too bad they don't have one for T-trim unit. T-trims intake is larger than in S- or SC-trim
